When We Are Closed

If you are ill or injured and are not sure where to turn, you can download the ASAP mobile phone App (ASAP Glos NHS) from the App Store or search the ASAP website: Alternatively, call NHS 111

NHS 111 is a telephone service that has been introduced nationally to make it easier for people to access local health services when they have an urgent need.  NHS 111 will replace NHS Direct and the local Out of Hours call handing – the Out of Hours service will stay the same.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year

Calls from mobiles and landlines are free

Further information can be found on the NHS 111 website NHS 111

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Call 111 when you need medical help fast but it’s not a 999 emergencyNHS ChoicesThis site is brought to you by My Surgery Website
