Surgery clinics

We offer a range of clinics and services at the surgery. There are some tasks you can do, such as health reviews, using our online forms.

Child immunisation clinic

The nurses carry out an child immunisation clinic every Tuesday with appointments between 2pm and 3:30pm.

Diabetic clinic

Dr Kieron Bhargava runs the diabetic clinic every Tuesday morning from 9am to midday.

Family planning clinic

All the doctors offer family planning advice. D Roy and Dr McCollum see patients for coil fittings and also for contraceptive implants. For more information on Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) please see our information leaflet (PDF).

Asthma clinic

Our nurse practitioner runs an asthma clinic on a Monday afternoon. If your symptoms are deteriorating or you are having any concerns please make an appointment with our nurse.

Cervical screening

You will receive a letter from the Health Authority inviting you for your cervical smear when it is due. A doctor or one of the nurses can take smears. (Your smear should not be done prior to receiving your letter as the sample will be rejected)

Minor surgery

This clinic is for removal of small moles and cysts. Dr Graham Isaac operates on suitable cases once a month, appointments can be booked after an initial consultation with a GP.

NHS health check

If you’re in the 40-74 age group without a pre-existing condition, you can expect to receive a letter from your GP or local authority inviting you for a free NHS Health Check every five years. In the meantime, you may want to try this online Heart Age test.
